About BoffinDNA

BoffinDNA is being developed as an evidence-aware professional profile platform.

Its purpose is to help individuals maintain a structured and current account of their education, employment, skills, achievements, aspirations and professional development without repeatedly rebuilding a résumé from the beginning.

The problem we are addressing

​

Professional information is usually scattered across:

• résumés and application forms;

• certificates and academic records;

• appointment, promotion and experience letters;

• appreciation and achievement records;

• recorded introductions and presentations;

• portfolios and work samples; and

• professional websites and other user-authorised sources.

 

As careers progress, valuable information is often lost, forgotten or left outdated.

Our approach

​

BoffinDNA is designed to organise user-provided sources into a working profile while preserving where each material statement came from.

The platform aims to distinguish self-declared information from documentary support, independent verification and formal assessment. Conflicting information should be surfaced for review rather than silently overwritten.

Our longer-term vision

​

Subject to user permission, BoffinDNA may eventually help:

• generate different résumé and profile formats;

• map documented capabilities to employment opportunities;

• identify missing or outdated evidence;

• prepare candidates for interviews and assessments;

• support employer search and candidate matching; and

• exchange authorised profile data with compatible HR systems.

 

These capabilities will be introduced progressively. They are not all available in the current version.
